Where Waters MeetConference and Community Festival

16 Hydref - 16 Hydref 2013

Celebrating Swansea and its Maritime Heritage and future.

With over 30 free public events coinciding with a two day conference in the National Waterfront Museum and the Dylan Thomas Centre, you will find a varied selection of lectures, debates, theatre, exhibitions, music and entertainment happening within the streets and venues of the Maritime Quarter of Swansea.

On Wednesday 16th October 2013, Mission Gallery will be providing a free drop-in Drawing with Wire workshop with local artist Rhian Wyn Stone. In association with the National Drawing Campaign; the Big Draw, visitors of all ages can call in anytime from 2pm, to experiment with the medium and create wire sculpture inspired by a maritime theme.

From 7pm we will have the fantastic DnA performing in the apse of our exhibition space. The Mother and Daughter folk duo from Swansea play the Celtic harp and fiddle, and have performed together at festivals and arts centers across South Wales.

Admission to the Gallery and workshop is free, and suitable for all ages
